StationGuard was installed in several places recently. A client has recently wanted to replace their old barscreen in the WWTP with a more effecient and practical SG! Now the operator can remove the entire barscreen and dump the debris without dropping half of it back into the waste flow. Here is a picture of three 8" StationGuards installed in a liftstation. The client was pulling the pumps in this station every other week. 125 lbs. 7.5 hp grinders...oh, my back! Since installing the SG (about two months) they have not pulled the pumps once...Knock on wood! Don't worry, with StationGuard no need for knocking!! Now the operator pulls the SGs twice a week and it takes him...10 minutes! He says, "it's a hell of a lot easier to pull those barscreens instead of those heavy pumps"! Amen brother!
The Town of Appomattox, VA had a big problem with a lift station. They were pulling the pumps and removing debris as much as twice a week. They were looking for a quick, inexpensive solution. This problem station was taking time and resources away from their other duties. They talked with Ryland Brown at ClearWater, Inc., he suggested they give StationGuard a shot. They installed it on September 11th, 2013 and haven't pull the pumps since! An easy solution without much fuss or high installation cost. The operators comment that is easier to pull the removable bar screen once or twice a week, which takes 5 minutes, than pull the pumps, which killed half a day!
